Anger

Feelings of anger and rage can cause people to feel and act in many ways, often in ways that may be seen as inappropriate. Beneath these feelings of anger could be other underlying feelings of fear or sadness. These feelings may be triggered by events that remind us of early traumatic experiences such as rejection, loss or abuse. Confrontation with others or self harm, may be how these feelings manifest themselves. These feelings, and acting on them, can have a negative impact on our relationship with our self and with others, both professionally and personally. The Cavendish Psychotherapy Practice recognises that these emotions can be overwhelming and difficult to control.

At the Cavendish, London, we work with you to help you process and understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns which will lead you to feel more able to manage the difficult situations you may find yourself in.
